Is there any city in the populated parts of the US that doesn’t have a violent, stupid population?

Unfortunately, all major (and many minor) cities in America have a rotten inner core.

My township has had exactly one murder some 30 years ago and one shooting about 3 years ago (Out of towners)

We had a local police department until 3 years ago and the chief told me that he had never pulled his gun in the 25 years he had been here.
