One can only conclude that the reason they have chosen to do so is because that story is about a Christian.
Also, it's pretty hard to pin the shooting on Palin and conservatives, when one of the shooter's victims was a pro-life Republican.
Being a Christian should be a requirement for being a judge. If not all judges then the same makeup as Christians in this Country.
You're darned right it was intentional. He was a Federal Judge for crying out loud, the Chief Judge of the district. But all we heard about for the first couple of days was the wounded liberal congress person, and very little about the DEAD conservative judge! If Judge Roll had been a clinton appointee his murder would have been screached about on CNN and MSNBC and Fox non stop!
If only he were a pretty young female democrat politician! Darn the luck! [/s]
The media's behavior in this story is beyond nauseating, but i'm preaching to the choir, of course.
Since Judge Roll sacrificed his life protecting someone else, perhaps a stranger no less, does this not make him eleigible to be Canonized as a Martyr? St. Maximlillan Kolbe, took the place of a married prisoner with a family in a Nazi death camp during WWII. It seems to me there is a valid comparison here. Just some thoughts...
