Zero is older than me and there was no such thing as Tee-ball when I was a kid. From what I can find people claim to have invented the game as far back as the late 40s-50s, but it wasn’t officially registered until the 1970s.

I find it very hard to believe that organized tee-ball was played in Hawaii in 1966-67.

I think Barry’s buddy has difficulty telling the truth.

T-ball was started for the blind IIRC, then again IIRC, sometime in the 70’s kids started playing it because the do-gooders claimed too many kids were getting hurt by thrown balls.

Exactly. I don't recall T-ball existing until the late 1970s in the rural south. I assume it was much earlier in larger urban areas like California, but I doubt it existed in the 1960s, especially in Hawaii, where baseball is probably not as big.

My younger brother born in 64 definitely played t ball. It was around at least by the early 70’s
