The Army is proposing adding helicopter training on Mauna Kea and Mauna Loa. Should the plan be approved? Yes. We need to give our military the best possible training, and those mountains are an ideal location for that. Maybe, but with some restrictions on how much noise the training can generate. Absolutely not! The Army needs to get off those mountains immediately.
Not many lefties fathers or sons need or care about training in mountains. Save a statistical outcast here or there, lefties don’t serve. ( Although they do sticker their Prius with ‘Save Sudan’ stickers, that went over their ancient ‘Free Tibet’ sticker )
When Army, Marine, Navy or Air Force helicopters have to perform acts of amazing airmanship in pulling liberals off of mountaintops, canyons, sinking sailboats or embattled embassies in third world hell-holes, liberals thank the God (they don’t believe in) that these servicemen can put the helicopter into tight spots in high winds, dust storms or bad weather.
But to to allow them to train to reach that level of proficiency...oh no, can’t have that, it might disturb the mating habits of the Hawaiian Spotted Salamander or disturb the liberals up there communing with nature.
I propose next time a liberal is in rugged terrain like Mauna Kea requiring an evac, let them rot. It isn’t worth risking the life of a single military crewmen to pull them out.

Hawaii is home of progressives even uber-liberal San Francisco would fine too left. They love to assert their “rights”, most live off some sort of government entitlement and are well versed in the vocabulary of liberalism. The Hawaii state legislature - the most Democrat legislature in the US - will pass same-sex-marriage as their first piece of legislation this year. Hawaii is broke, in deep debt and businesses are fleeing as fast as they can get an airline ticket outa here. However, same-sex-marriage is their TOP PRIORITY. The new Governor is a bigger joke than VP Biden.
