The challenger, believe it or not, is not Honda, but Ford Motor Company.

My last two (leased) vehicles were Jeeps. They took the bailout. Ford did not. I just picked up a 2011 Escape last Saturday.

The quality matches or exceeds the Hondas I had before the Jeeps; time will tell for how long.

Ford Motor Company has done what GM has not done. It has produced a menu of vehicles suited to consumer demand. It could have stayed with the Mustang & “F” series trucks, but it elected to serve the market demand, hence the Fusion the “new” Taurus, the Escape, etc. And...the quality is there as well as reliablity. Ford now has a “great menu” of good cars across the board. GM, on the other hand succcumbed to the Obamabots and will take a royal beating on the “Volt”!!! The Camaro is far short from what it should have been. When I remember the “old” Camaro lineup of “hot” cars, these new ones make me sick!!! Free enterprise rules, Obama handouts don’t!!!
