Call me a skeptic, but I'd bet big bucks that he wants the multi-million dollar home sold while she's alive, because perhaps the property is willed to a child or someone other than 'Prince'.
She has a daughter...estranged, I think. This ersatz prince married her for whatever money she had at the time. I am sure they are in debt and that the house is the last asset. He has probably already sold her jewelry. I am pretty sure he hasn't worked in many years, if ever.
