A celebrity journalist now claims he misspoke when he said last week that Hawaii’s governor told him he was unable to find President Barack Obama’s original birth certificate after a search of state and hospital archives.
Mike Evans told FoxNews.com on Wednesday he was remorseful and embarrassed that he appeared to have given the impression that he had discussed the search for Obama’s birth certificate with Hawaii Gov. Neil Abercrombie.
Evans, who says he has been a close friend of Abercrombie since the 1980s, appeared on Minnesota’s KQRS radio last week and said he’d been told by the governor himself that Obama’s birth certificate was nowhere to be found. Evans told KQRS on Jan. 20:
"Yesterday, talking to Neil's office, Neil says that he searched everywhere using his powers as governor ..... there is no Barack Obama birth certificate in Hawaii. Absolutely no proof at all that he was born in Hawaii."
But that’s no longer Evans’ story.
“Only this I can you tell you is 100 percent fact: that Neil never told me there was no birth certificate,” Evans told Fox News. “I never talked to him.”

As I push the abuse button on your stealth axelgreasy butt I will also inform you that a phone conversation with the Mike Evans was played on the Internet for two days, is still available via archives, and in which he said just the opposite of what he is saying now.
“I thought it was my old friend, Governor Abercrombie, but I was mistaken. It was actually a zombie, wearing an Abercrombie mask. Sorry for any confusion I may have caused.”
Sounds like Obama and the New Black Panthers got to this dude.
Of course, the Obama Supporting/Birther Bashing Fox News will use this to attack Birthers. Fox News is no different than MSNBC, CNN, CBS, etc....they are supporting Obama by attacking Birthers

He misspoke. He was talking about Truthers not Birthers. He meant that Abercrombie told him that George Bush’s birth certificate was not in Hawaii.

If there wasn’t a HUGE problem around this issue the BC would have been shown and this would have been put to bed.
A ego like BO’s couldn’t resist the opportunity to grab this and slam it in people’s face. If he produced it he would discredit half the country and gain huge political power. There is NO WAY he wouldn’t produce it.
With all that said I still think there are valid points about “natural born citizen” and I think the American people deserve a clear position from SCOTUS on this.
It just seems weird to me that to be an intern at the WH you would have to go through more hoops and validation than you do to get the electoral votes from a state.

It’s almost as if the Obama administration is toying with us to see how much it can get away with without MSM blowing the whistle on this matter. Maybe they’re baiting House Republicans into holding hearings in hopes of trotting out the long form BC at an opportune time? I truly am puzzled about what’s going on, but at face value it doesn’t look good.
