That would truly be lovely. I’d welcome a reduction by half of the federal government. Problem is, the millions who get laid off from the feds will flood the labor market at a time when the private sector is still shedding jobs. At least for a decade, the economic cost would be greater than any savings.
Perhaps, but keeping them “employed” in an inefficient, bloated, and private-sector job killing Fedzilla is simply delaying the inevitable, and promoting the country’s demise.
