What is your definition of “older generation”? I’m 58. Most hunters I know of my generation are sane, own hunting rifles, handguns, shotguns and tactical rifles. Heck, most of us have been stocking up on new weapons, magazines and ammo for the last couple of years now! Vast majority of ones I know have concealed handgun licenses and support state and national gun rights groups, too. I’m not “scared of laws coming against hunting guns”. What I fear is rise of younger generations who seem to lack a clear understanding of the foundations of our Liberty and the fact that God Almighty grants our Rights - not government. Government is suppose to secure them. My dad fought in WWII and I was drafted and served honorably during Viet Nam. My father's grandparents were legal immigrants from Germany and did not refer to themselves as hyphenated German-Americans after they became U.S. citizens. On my mother's side of family, I have an old family Bible from the Civil War Era that lists many of my distant relatives who fought and died for the cause of freedom. I Thank the Lord we have young brave people who serve in the military today. I have no fear of these leftist idiots in office because the “older generation” I look up to wrote the following:

But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security. ...”

The Second Amendment helps guarantee we have a few tools at hand to deal with the above situation should things get totally out of hand. And, I hope it does not. Let’s just say, I don’t intend to get into the FEMA van if one ever pulls up to my front door!

This is good to know. I know a lot of hunters like their anti-badguy guns, I just once in a while hear how gun control people get support from older generations because they fear the guberment might come their bolt actions. That isn’t necessarily true, just something I hear once in a while to no rebuttle. Thanks for the rebuttle :D
