Ping of interest
Oh really? I had a lively discussion last month saying that he was the odds on bet for a male candidate.
So I guess the behind the scenes blue blood society will now groom Huckabee?
Good. We need to rally around ONE conservative or else a liberal will get the nod.
I won't let you leave out Palin. You are deluding yourself if you think she isn't at least a potential candidate.
LOL...
loser, loser, loser, loser.
You are at least consistent!
I heard Angle might be getting in.
A fairly conservative Governor Pence in Indiana is fine with me;a President ought to have some management experience.
Good. I like Mike Pence, and I think this is best for him. The country needs strong conservative leaders at the state level, and Pence needs more experience and exposure before he should consider running at the national level.
A lot of good politicians have wrecked their careers by letting themselves be persuaded to move ahead too soon.
Has Bolton announced his candidacy?
Run DeMint run!
It’s going to be interesting to see how DeMint reads this field. He’s left the door open although at this time it sounds like he’s leaning against a run.
You know who it's going to be.
DeMint is the only viable one in the bunch, pissant, and it's not clear at all that he's even interested.
This ABBP campaign of yours is getting tired, trotting out complete neophytes and touting them in some spiteful attempt at creating buzz for anyone other than Palin.
Good luck, you've done such a fine job for Duncan Hunter and the Falcon Party.
This is a good call on Pence’s part. This is right thinking.
CNN Anchor Wolf Blitzer asked DeMint, "Are you going to run for the Republican presidential nomination?"
DeMint responded, "No, no I'm not."
He could’ve been the man. Your nation calls you, answer the call please.
But I’m sure he wouldn’t turn down Sarah’s offer of VP.
Some say running from the House is a bad idea. In a regular kind of election cycle where everything is stable, I’d agree, but not this time where there’s economic and political upheaval, and we have huge challenges to face.
Lincoln, for example, was never anything more than a member of congress before becoming POTUS, taking the helm during one of the greatest crisies we’ve ever had.
Additionally, I wonder how much experience one really needs when the task at hand is not to manage the behemoth of the centralized administrative state, but to dismantle and castrate it. And of course the presidency depends on a decent cabinet and other kinds of advisors to help make the decisions, and so it could be quite doable for Pence.
I really wish he would reconsider. His nation is calling because it needs a man like him.
Damn. I was pulling for Pence and/or Palin. If we lose in 2012, 2016 is shaping up to be where the real talent will slug it out- McDonnell, Pence, and Christie.
