How did one miss, My toilet?
Just two of the changes from when I grew up in the fifties and sixties:
We fed our pets scraps from the meals we ate and bought very little pet food. My Dad would cook gravy and put it over bread for the stray cats.
I lost my cat a few years ago to what I believe was poison food.
We burned our trash for about 5 minutes each evening after supper. About once per month, my Dad would take the tin cans and other items to the county trash dump. There were no landfills.
Burning trash is now illegal. How can this even begin to compare with the exhaust from planes, cars, trucks, buses, trains, and other equipment?
You got that right. Everytime I flush my toilet I cuss out the government..Got lots of light bulbs in storage, and can still buy more before they go off the market..
