College students really don’t find him that cool anymore, either.
Obama will be one of those presidents that many college kids look back and laugh, “I can’t believe I voted for that guy”.
(My wife knows. She voted for Carter in ‘80, one of the few).
Obama's thinking is probably mainly along two lines:
"If Mubarak falls, a radical anti-American group will gain control of Egypt. Is there a downside to that?"
"How can the current turmoil be blamed on George W. Bush?"
One of the issues raised in the run-up to our last presidential election was the question "Which candidate is best qualified to handle a '3 AM moment'?" America now has a partial answer. It isn't President Obama.Gosh, I had no idea. Thanks Hotlanta Mike.
