This thread is based on the press release from LiveAction, the group of college students who put the video together. There has been additional information about their visits to various clinics across the country in the middle of January. The coverage started on Jan. 25.
The release of this video is no surprise. It’s been anticipated since the first story broke. If you read them, you can see why I question the wisdom of this tactic. It’s a sideshow, which can distract from going after PP on valid grounds.
If Bachmann, or any other Congressman, uses these videos as evidence of *why* PP should be defunded, their argument will be ignored, because all people will be focused on is the validity of the videos and the way they were obtained. . Do we really want this debate on funding PP to be turned into yet another Two-Weeks-Excitement about James O’Keefe and sting video investigation?

It looks to me like most of the PP offices visited caught on, but that the Perth Amboy office struck the bait hard.
1/10 PP offices being managed by someone willing to circumvent laws protecting minors is a good reason to withhold tax money from the organization.
LiveAction would do better to vary their storylines next time they try an expose like this, space them out in time. But they’ve gathered intelligence - PP offices share over-the-top encounters rather promptly. I think the staged, recorded scenario does have a place in exposing the abortion industry.
