Muslim Brotherhood: ‘Prepare Egyptians for war with Israel'
The Jerusalem Post ^ | 01 Feb 11 | YAAKOV LAPPIN

Posted on 02/01/2011 8:13:24 AM PST by Lessthantolerant

A leading member of the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt told the Arabic-language Iranian news network Al-Alam on Monday that he would like to see the Egyptian people prepare for war against Israel, according to the Hebrew-language business newspaper Calcalist.

Muhammad Ghannem reportedly told Al- Alam that the Suez Canal should be closed immediately, and that the flow of gas from Egypt to Israel should cease “in order to bring about the downfall of the Mubarak regime.” He added that “the people should be prepared for war against Israel,” saying the world should understand that “the Egyptian people are prepared for anything to get rid of this regime.”

Ghannem praised Egyptian soldiers deployed by President Hosni Mubarak to Egyptian cities, saying they “would not kill their brothers.” He added that Washington was forced to abandon plans to help Mubarak stay in power after “seeing millions head for the streets.”

Our media and many academics want one to believe that the Muslim Brotherhood is a moderate arm of islam.

I watched yesterday on Fox an idiot professor from Harvard talk about how moderate they are and how The Zero and Hildabeast had masterly handled this crisis.

I hope people will realize that the media are our enemies as well as most academics in the university system.

israel does not have the technological advantage this time. True they have superior fighters as the islamic fighters are stupid and poorly prepared to challenge a strong enemy.

But this time they near parity and superiority in numbers and location.

It may well be different this time.

Of course they're preparing for war with Israel.

Egypt is one of the nations which will attack Israel according to Psalm 83.

With the Lebanese government falling, and from all indications Jordan being next, the nations which God said would engage in war with Israel are falling into line and the stage is being set for the Psalm 83 prophecy to be fulfilled.

Yeah, Google “Hosni Mubarak,” and you’ll see calls for him to step down everywhere. You’ll also see how the protests are all about “freedom, democracy, peace,” yadda yadda yadda.

My brother found a live feed of the Cairo protests on Al Jazeera. Hordes of people there, but I had to shut it off very quickly, as I couldn’t stand to listen to the anchors emotionally droning on and on and and on about how “this is for the people, the future of Egypt,” blah blah blah.

This is going to be a disaster if President Mubarak falls and the Muslim Brotherhood takes over.....and I mean DISASTER!

Trust me the islamic radicals study the Bible and simply interpet differently.

This scene looks like a serious possiblity now doesn’t it?

Islam is a cult of death.

Of course you are moderate when the other guy holds all of the guns. Turn the military, just a bit....and then turn the people.

There will be a vacuum that that will need to be filled. El Baridei will fit the bill for a couple of months. But then, he will have an accident and the “military” will take over for good. Except, it won’t be today’s military.

I will get no joy of seeing Mubarak put against the wall. The House of Saud? While the alternative is worse, at least there will be a little up side to seeing those b-stards put up against it. Then all bets are off, and the beast’s mask will really be torn off. We will at least be able to SEE what we are fighting.

There is hope to generate serious chaos with Egypt falling. Egypt is predominately Sunni, we can forment Sunni/Shite civil war for a sufficent time to weaken the military.

Syria is also Sunni, Iran can not really take over as well as they would like.

Granted both sides are evil and should be eradicated, we still need to keep these animals at each others throats.

“This is going to be a disaster if President Mubarak falls and the Muslim Brotherhood takes over.....and I mean DISASTER!”

Mubarak is going, one way or the other. That much we know.

What happens afterwards is anyone’s guess at the moment.

It probably won’t be good, for either Israel, or.... for us.

All across the Islamic world, it’s as if there’s a storm of “coalescing power”, with that power going towards Islamic fundamentalism. The Caliphate is a-borning.

Will this lead to that final confrontation between good and evil?

The BroHood apparently hasn’t read Isaiah 29 or Zechariah 14. Egypt is going to end up under Israel’s authority.

Egypt, a grand country that prospers as long as they don’t venture out.

Prediction: If the dominoes (ME countries like Egypt, Tunisia, Jordan, etc.) start to fall to radical Islam, the mushrooms are going to start blooming in the deserts and they won’t be fungi. Meanwhile, Dear Leader will continue to dither and talk about his next vacation with an adoring press corps.

In truth knowing how the medias spin or squelch items that do not agree with their particular persuasion, how is it they are still credible with the public. Hardly any news is presented minus the bias exorcising of some of the essential information to obtain a accurate idea of what is actually going on with each and ever report. The shooting in Arizona is a perfect example. They vilified, they pilloried, they out right lied.

Wise up, research stuff you care about for yourself, usually it is possible to piece it together ... it takes time, effort, caring, and thought. MO.

I am afraid self education is a thing of the past. My son is a recent graduate and he tells me he never say such ignorance as his peers.

People in their early twenties actually cite Wikipedia!

Scary times.

Obama stating in one of his books , Audacity of Hope,

-- I stand with Muslims should the political winds shift in an ugly direction---

Add this to O's hidden background, Muslim out reach agenda and his treatment of Israel. Will he protect our interests and what is their plan to keep us safe and diffuse Middle East turmoil? Will we stand by Israel?

Our media and many academics want one to believe that the Muslim Brotherhood is a moderate arm of islam.

Perhaps (though there is plenty of anti-brotherhood stuff out there, too.)

What does the Jerusalem Post want us to belive? That Arabs are unable to govern themselves, have no fundamental right to democratic government, and that a savage dictator, famous for his torture chambers, remains the best choice to lead Egypt?

I don't take the JP as the definative impartial source for coverage of what is happening in Egypt.

I watched yesterday on Fox an idiot professor from Harvard ...

Al Gore proved that going to Harvard required no intelligence. It is amazing how a once proud bastion of knowledge and intelligence has allowed itself to become a laughing stock. Oh well, most of the university system is the same.
