Sen. John Kerry, chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee, called Tuesday for Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak to step down to usher in a new government.
In a New York Times op-ed Tuesday, the Massachusetts Democrat appealed to Mr. Mubarak’s sense of nationalism, saying the Egyptian president “must accept that the stability of his country hinges on his willingness to step aside gracefully to make way for a new political structure.”

This sort of settles it for me: the LAST THING we want to do is encourage Mubarak to leave.
These aholes asking for him to step aside better be careful what they wish for because the unknown that would take his place will probably be worse.

Kerry and Mubarak have been in office almost the same amount of time. Perhaps Mass voters should also change the power structure.

The same thing should be said to our failed President. He is going to lose Egypt to the Muslim Brotherhood, which may have been in his foreign policy agenda.
...and another thing when I was serving in the brown water navy they returned wounded sailors to the fleet.
Many sailors with minor wounds refused a purple heart to continue serving with their mates.
Kerry has no honor putting himself in for 3 purple hearts.

I suggest YOU step aside and allow someone with ethics and some degree of intelligence take your place.
