The Egyptian government has information a diplomat at the U.S. embassy in Cairo secretly met yesterday with a senior leader of the Muslim Brotherhood, the nation's major Islamist opposition group, WND has learned.
The topic of the meeting was the future of Egypt following the "fall" of President Hosni Mubarak, an Egyptian intelligence official told WND.

BTW, I am always surprised how many conservatives have forgotten that Louis Farrakhan publicly proclaimed Obama the "Messiah" (considering that Louie is a muslim that would be muslim messiah or mahdi).

Seriously, though, if/when MB takes the Canal, I’d shut it down. Then. Within the hour. Blockade it. Lock it up tight. Nobody in, nobody out. Then sit and wait for the Egyptians to arrive. The Egyptians will deal with the ‘hood, and I have confidence, just as they surrounded the museums and protected them from thugs, and protected their own neighborhoods from criminals, they will take their Suez Canal back - if need be, with us providing all the ammo they could ever wish for from the sidelines. It’ll be a nice little shooting gallery and a historic moment for the Egyptian people.
The Egyptians need to make up their minds if they want a non-partisan/non-theocratic democracy or a partisan/islamic theocracy. The form of government they end up with, and how their minorities are treated, will determine how the world responds. It’s 2011 after all, not 1972.
