Myself I was amazed that anybody was fooled by the “closet” with Ellen.
She is so OBVIOUSLY gay! When i heard that her TV show had her playing a heterosexual, I said “Who is going to believe that?”
When she “came out”, it was as surprising to me as finding out Liberace was gay.
