Anyone notice the violence didn’t start until Obamma gave his “inspiration” speech and his demand for Mubarak to step down immediately?
Yes, I noticed that. We have to recognize that our policy of 'democratic regime change' may be popular here in America but it probably is not popular with other Middle East leasers...it may not be popular with Israeli leaders, and...it may not be popular with European leaders who get oil through the Suez Canal. So, after 0bama 'took sides' in that speech last night, other leaders may have contacted Mubarak and told him to resist. Their own interests are so great that they might be willing to fund Mubarak in defiance of 0bama.
