We were especially criminal as we threw erasers, made spitballs, rolled water filled rubbers down the hall, why we even had snowball fights when it snowed.We were even known to sneak a smoke behind the gym.It wasn’t too unusual to hear a firecracker go off down the hall.
Three counts of misdemeanor assault. Give me a break, Any good principla would have solved this without it leaving the school with a phone call to Mom and dad.

Not to mention the student being sent to see “Coach” who had a paddle with holes in it, while the phone call was being made.
About 20 years ago I was substituting in the HS and a lot of kids were bringing squirt guns and the teachers were POed. This kid was squirting other kids while trying to conceal the gun but I saw it, I went up to him, grabbed the gun and squirted him until the water was gone and gave it back to him. Everybody laughed but they probably would have thrown us both out of the school if they had known.
