I believe the illegals are the problem here. They dont have health insurance therefore go to emergency rooms.
Precisely! The cost of treating them is bankrupting our hospitals. In fact, due to money constraints, the hospital in Phoenix where I worked for 7 years shut down the medical transcription department and sent those jobs to India! The coders are next in line too, and these jobs are NEVER coming back.
Now at the age of 57, I'm on unemployment for the first time in my life and have to return to school for training in a new career. I only hope I'll be hired by someone when I'm almost 60 and can work for a few years before I reach retirement age.

God Bless you in your tough journey. I’m still waiting for SOMEONE to mention the impact of illegals on our health care cost!

Carl Levin (D).....what is he stating?
Looks like a vote is expected around 5:15 East. time

I, too, putter around this backwoods rural section of the mid-east in a 4x4, Explorer 8. If I didn’t have it, or something like it, I could not get around this time of year.

Before my Explorer I had a Nissan Sentra....talk about a death trap!
I kiss my boy each time he gets me to and fro safely.
What the heck is this old man from Hawaii talking about???
To: NoGrayZone
have you seen that little pregnant roller skate pretending to be a car? Better to be on a motorcycle...at least you don’t have illusion of safety.

Oh, by the way, I didn't watch the whole thing, so I was wondering....
Did anyone try to make Sheila Jackson Lee's argument that repealing ObamaCare would violate both the Equal Protection and Due Process clauses?
I'd say I was shocked that someone like SJL who graduated from a Top 10 law school could make such an argument with a straight face, but guess I'm really not that surprised.

Inouye was a true hero and Patroit during WWII. I don’t know where he went wrong.

They are reading off names......
I left the room, what are they calling names for? Are these names part of the vote?

You haven’t known enough heroes yet to say that.

Being an American war hero and being a raving leftist are not mutually exclusive. Just look at Smedley Butler.

There’s a few more wandering around now than when they started, but obviously not a quorum.
