why is it that we take bad british shows and make them even worse?
“Likewise, one of the show’s actresses, Sophia Black-D’elia (who plays one of the show’s lesbian characters), was reported to have argued, “It’s what teens are doing. It’s the way teenagers believe [...]””
Like most actresses, this whore believes that everyone is as low as she is. Just like pop starlets who whore themselves, they like to make their sluttish behavior into some form of false empowerment.
Cut your cable TV service.
Sledge hammer your satellite dish.
Shoot your TV. Twice.
Get out the board games.
Get out the song books.
Get out the story books.
Play, sing, laugh, and dance as a family.
Learn to play musical instruments.
Learn to make model airplanes.
Set up the model railroad.
Forget about sitting around in an alpha state being hypnotized by images being strobed at you at 60 or 70 Hz.
I will never have cable in my house again until they offer al a carte programming.
I refuse to pay for this garbage.
So in the meantime, Mythbusters and Dirty Jobs are on Netflix.
Oh, and make whatever sacrifices you need to make to get your kids out of the unGodly government school collective indoctrination centers.
Pray that it’s not too late to become a family again.
Downloading is an excellent alternative too. I just watched “Black Swan” and it’s so much better than to go to the movies. Better than paying money into the coffers of these pigs.
Yeah stealing is much better. Especially when you steal a film distributed by News Corp. /sarc

LOL!!!!
I watch streaming movies all the time.
Once I have paid to see them in a theater and plan to buy them on Blu-Ray, I am not “stealing” a thing.
Studios are offering more and more 3D and IMAX movies. Neither can be downloaded for the full experience. The studios are thwarting the downloaders because they are offering a product which cannot be “stolen”.
THAT is America, baby!
I won’t download. Way too many viruses for my taste.
But streaming video is excellent!
People pay services like Netflix to stream content. That’s not stealing. There are pleny of illegal bit torrent and streaming sites which certainly are stealing.
“Big Bang Theory” on DVD. The whole cast are members of my immediate family ... I’m laughing so hard they have to shake me.

You mean like “MovieForum”?
Nope. As long as one has paid in the theater and eventually buys the DVD or Blu-Ray, it’s not stealing.
We saw “Hairspray” twice in the theater. Once for the sing-a-long.
We then bought the DVD, got a PS3 and bought the Blu-Ray, special collectors edition.
After all that, to state that the times I watched the movie, streaming off the internet is stealing, is greed, plain and simple.
Like I said, the studios are now offering products that cannot be downloaded and have the same experience. When “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows-Pt. 2” comes out, the fans will flock to see it in IMAX 3D, Real-3D or DBox. None of which can be downloaded. No need to feel sorry for the studios.
I don’t feel sorry for the studios but I’m assuming most people aren’t going to the theater to see them first. And if 3D is the future of cinema...
OT but would someone please explain this bit torrent etc thing? I wanted to watch an old Hawaii Five 0 episode but hesitated to sign up on a torrent site because I wasn’t sure of the privacy/legality of what I was doing.
Any suggestions as to good sites? Thanks!
I love that show! The one at that conference a couple of weeks ago had me laughing so hard my 12 y.o. was telling ME to be quiet.
I just LOVE seeing television series without having to have cable and see movies, old movies that aren’t in circulation. I manaed to download “The Last Mistress” and wihle it’s excellent quality, it’s in French with no subtitles and I do plan on buying it. I just want to be double sure that I’m getting something that is owrht paying for.
Two good sites are:
Alivetorrent.com
Kickasstorrents.com
I sincerely cannot understand why this is marketed as ‘normal,’ when it isn’t. Whne I was a teen, no one I knew did this.
call comcast and have MTV placed on a premium channel. That way you only pay for cr#p that your kids watch if you let them. I wish we could unbundle all the channels and do it one channel at a time. I’d have 6 channels and that’s fine. If my kids want to watch cr#p. When they’re 18 and out of the house they can pay for it.
