CNN's Anderson Cooper and his camera crew were attacked and repeatedly punched by pro-government forces near Tahrir Square in Cairo today.
"My team were set upon by the crowd," Cooper said on CNN this morning via telephone from the safety of a hotel balcony. "There was no rhyme or reason to itit was just people looking for a fight, looking to make a point, and punching us." According to a Twitter post from George Hale, the English editor of the Ma'an news agency, who cited a CNN "manager," Cooper was punched "10 times in the head."

The MSM picked sides again and this time one side decides they are going to fight back.
Wow - I'd pay good money to see the Paris Hilton of journo-lism take a few good hits to the snoot.
Hey lets get on a plane go 5,000 miles to do interviews to a angry mob!! yeah!! Seems like a propaganda set up to me! the phrase goes well we didnt get dressed up for nothing. or in his case we didnt come 5,000 miles for nothing
My thoughts exactly. Simply Obama’s Press Arm doing their duty by their man.
I doubt they were pro-Mubarak thugs. Probably the Muslim Brotherhood.
Well they may be pro-Mubarak but as proper thugs they're a bitter disappointment.
Fox just reported that he wasn’t the nly one. They had a call from Fox Business Network’s Ashley Webster who is in Cairo said the government forces broke into the room and told them to get out of Egypt.

They alos had someone on the phoje last hour that confimr=ed everything I told you several hours ago.
Too bad a guy on a camel didn’t grab Katie and take her to his tent!
With Anderson now taking refuge on a rooftop, CNN is running banners attributing all violence to pro Mubarak forces.
I don’t sympathize with Mubarak, but this is Shah 2.
You’d think they’d be throwing shoes at him rather than touching an infidel with their hands.
Strange, I find myself envying the grumpy Egyptians.
What CNN needs to do is try some of that in your face crap they do over here.
I am SO using this!
Oh...
darn.
Thugs just doing the work American Conservatives won’t do.
Same thing I wondered. I suspect he assumed that no one exc those he would disapprove would dare attack him. No bias there huh!?
That should be “phone last hour that confirmed”
They are Muslim Brotherhood's voice to the World. That's why they are there.
The history of American corporate support to totalitarian regimes is long, bloody and well documented.
Today, CNN and Google work for furture Muslim Brotherhood leadership of Egypt.
really... someone went to swat a fly and pansy boy ran screaming
I really don’t think that’s it. Nobody wants the same corrupt government for 30 years, whether you’re an Islamist, or a middle class student or a atheist shopkeeper. The point is to get Mubarak out of there before everyone is so radicalised that they are willing to follow a crazy Mullah instead.
Works every time.
Why isn’t the liberal media asking, “Why do they hate us so?”
When the Muslims attack the United States, the liberal media is first to blame America.
Funny how these “reporters” are stone silent when the Muslims attack the innocent Muslim loving propagandists in the American media.
Wonder when the Anderson Cooper and Christiane Amanpour apology tour will take place.
