And my dad died at the age of 38 while fishing...he slipped, hit his head, rendering him unconscious, and drowned in 4 feet of water (and my dad was a good swimmer and expert fisherman)...In case anyone thinks I am kidding, I wish I was—he died on his 38th birthday when I was 16 years old.

I guess we need to ban water and fishing and rocks that can be slipped on and the world will be a better place! ;) BTW, my dad was a casual smoker, mostly cigars and pipes, and I still think of him when I smell either.

I am sorry that you lost him at such a young age. Isn’t it amazing how scents can spark fond memories?
