Does anyone know whether the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt is Shia or Sunni?

Thanks.

Shia probably. They support Jihad and support Iran. The question is important but the end point is the same , forming a Caliphate from India to Spain and Russia to the philipines.

According to this article, MB in Egypt is a hybrid of both:

"Egypt's Muslim Brotherhood (MB) has recently shifted its political position and aligned with Iran. Historically, the MB, as an extremist Sunni movement, had anti-Shiite sentiments. However, this new “unholy alliance” is based on common political interests. Iran, having hegemonic ambitions, launched a cold war against the Arab countries, including Egypt. Hence, the MB, which wants to take over Egypt, is interested in supporting Shiite Iran. However, this new political shift, created a major rift inside the MB."

I am quite sure that the Muslim Brotherhood is Sunni, although I do not trust what people tell me right now about this area of the world. I think we are in the midst of a worldwide propaganda onslaught, and NOTHING is to be trusted.

OTOH, I was researching the MB, and I found links to WW II and before Croatian links to the Nazi’s, and that link follows straight through to the anti-Serbian conflict that the US and NATO carried out. IOW, we went after the good guys in the same exact area, 60 years apart. We actually bombed the H out of the Serbs during WW II, for political reasons, when the Serbs were siding with the Allies at very great peril. Research the atrocities that the Croats and Muslims visited upon the Serbian Allies of WW II, and since. Yet we consistently support the Axis powers in quiet ways ever since the last half of that war, up to today. I say Axis, because it is reasonably clear that they never went away, they just moved underground with the MB, and other fascistic groups throughout the region.
