Muslim Brotherhood: ‘We are against Zionism’

A spokesman for the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt on Thursday evening repeatedly refused to commit to maintaining the peace treaty with Israel, or even recognizing Israel, if the Brotherhood becomes a player in the future governance of Egypt.

Asked on CNN if his organization would support the maintenance of the Egyptian-Israeli peace treaty, Mohamed Morsy, a spokesman for the Muslim Brotherhood, dodged a direct answer but said Israel had failed to honor the treaty. He said it would be up to the Egyptian parliament to decide on the fate of the treaty, and that the parliament would reflect the will of the people.

They have declared war against those that oppose them, oppose Islamic conversion. Reminds me of the Movie, “Chronicles of Riddick”

I wonder if Sarah Palin is our Riddick?

Having any form of self-delusion about the MB is goofballism at its highest manifestation. They were founded in 1928. They have been around 35 years before Fatah, and 50 years before Hezbollah and 50 years before Hamas and 60 years before Al Queda. All these terror groups are the OFFSPRING of the MB, the MB isn’t some kind of latecomer to the party.

this is kind of like asking Adolph Hitler if he intends to treat the Jews fairly. These people are the Arab equivalents of NAZIs and, if given the opportunity, will attempt to finish what Hitler started. The Muslim Brotherhood was, in fact, allied with Hitler from the time he rose to power. They survived WW2 even though he didn't. If they manage to take over Egypt, they will take control of the second most powerful military in the middle east. You think maybe that's something that radical islamic jihadis want? They have been up against the ropes ever since shock and awe. This will be a game changer and they know it.

If, as above, you might reasonably assume the tact will always be something to the effect of: “…dodged a direct answer…”

Then why not ask a truly inspired and interesting question instead, like: “After a future military purge, would the Brotherhood send a conscripted army to the boarder, watch it largely destroyed, while the survivors will be left to wonder and die in the dessert?”

CNN probably heard the Muslim Brotherhood answer, then looked into the camera and said, “Well, there you have it folks. A concrete promise from the Muslim Brotherhood that they will indeed honor the peace treaty with Israel”.

They hate America, too.

Their ideologue spent time in Greeley, CO in 1948 and absolutely hated a tight-laced America.

If anything, its gotten worse over 62 years and counting.

Funny... I’ve heard exactly the same thing from leftists on comment/message boards.

“We aren’t against Jews, we’re against ‘Zionism’”,

which means “[secular] Jews can exist, but Israel must not.”
