It was clear he was trying to defend this woman, Animal Control Lt. Brian Jones told Pet Pulse.
I think that says it all. I didn't see any other info.

What does that have to do with pit bulls? I assumed it was his constant posting of PBT stuff.

Thank you. I think that 11johara28 was trying to make a joke or something. A little gallows humor is okay sometimes, I guess, but we have to watch out for the Chet99 types.

“... that’s half Pit Bull, quarter Rottweiler and quarter Great Pyrenees...”
I am trying to imagine what your doggie looks like... either the most handsome dog in the world or, uh, one that only a mommy could love.
To: the OlLine Rebel
Nothing. He wasn’t zotted over pit bulls. But his zot sure did make all the pit bull owners happy.... ;-)

The breed does matter to some extent, otherwise I could hunt ducks over a Chow.* Border collies inherently want to herd things. Labradors want to carry things around in their mouths. And Goldens want to cling to you and shed all over you . . . .
Since Pits were originally a baiting and fighting breed, there's some aggression in the bloodlines - animal not people aggression because the handlers were in the pit with the dogs. BUT a well bred dog from good lines that is properly socialized and trained is not a problem.
*I almost said poodle, but you can hunt ducks over a poodle. See here: Up Close Photo.

He looks like an over sized Golden Retriever with a big head and large jaw muscles. He's big and gentle. His best friend is a one year old cat who sleeps on top of him. I never planned on getting a mixed breed but I'm glad my kids talked me into it.

Well, sorry to see someone get the boot, but he sure got on my nerves a few times with the Pit Bull stuff.

Sorry. Meant to be humorous. Wife says I have no sense of humor. I think she just doesn’t understand me. Will try to put that little sarcasm thingy next time.

‘S okay. I’ve done it myself, and gotten juice-oozing flamed for it too.
