Newt Gingrichs political groups raised more than $4.2 million in the last three months of 2010, bringing the former House speakers total to $14.5 million for the year a sum that far eclipses his potential rivals for the 2012 Republican presidential nomination.
Gingrich, who has increasingly signaled his desire to enter the race to take on President Barack Obama, raised more last year than the three next most prolific fundraisers eying Republican presidential bids combined former Govs. Mitt Romney of Massachusetts (whose political committees brought in $6.3 million in 2010), Sarah Palin of Alaska ($3.5 million) and Tim Pawlenty of Minnesota ($2.6 million).

Give the money back Newt. It will be a cold day in hell before you get the nomination.
So true. My question is where did that traitorous POS, of whom I was an early supporter back in 1995, get all the money. From his betraying the Conract with America, to throwing a global warming debate with Gore, to sitting on the couch with Peolsi, to supporting the DREAM Act, methinks he's been as throughly bribed as Obama by sinister people and needs to be flushed, as the duplicitious POS he is, from the Republican party.
Massachusetts, for one, but that isn’t my point. Romney was a disaster as a governor of a small state. As president, he would be an even greater disaster for an entire country.
Money had better not determine who the conservative nominee is this time around. The tone-deafness of this “leadership” is just breathtaking.
Colonel, USAFR
RIGHT ON!! And ever since, IMHO, he's just kept on fineding more ways to be bribed and flipped.
Another hand-picked, media approved candidate to guarantee an Obama victory.
Romney, with his MA healthcare law as an immediate albatross around his neck, will have a different primary race to run when compared to 2008. Please explain how that reality and logic leads to a nomination.
Of course she did blow away Biden in the debate I thought but man I am surrounded by Republicans and many dont take her seriously. I do not see a real Palin like contender in the Republican field who will win the nomination.
Unfortunately it has come down to "is Romney an American or is he a foreigner?" We just need to stack Congress with Tea Party Conservatives. (my one dark horse who could make a showing is Col. West if he wanted too)
Massachusetts is not a "small state" unless you're strangely going by its area instead of its population.
Well, it is larger than Rhode Island.
Yep...agree. Whorebait Newt is past his political prime. A mule that can’t pull stumps anymore IMO .....
Stay Safe ....
Palin is alone. How many in newts group?
I don’t even know how he takes himself seriously...
That and he claimed several years ago "the era of Reagan is over". Today he tries to capitalize on Reagan's 100th. Newt is an old fool.
LLS
How can you support anyone that would state on Rush’s show that, “THE ERA OF REAGAN IS OVER”?
LLS
THIS IS BULL! Gingrich has multiple PAC’s including those that allows it to accept unlimited donations from wealthy individuals and corporations - unlike Palin who accepted a record amount in small donation from 200 dollars or less, she shows real grassroots support, Gingrich shows lobbyist and corporate money —
Well you get an email from him 3 times a day no wonder he’s raising so much dough.
Pray for Egypt
1. Blanket amnesty for illegals
2. Cap n’ Tax on steroid
3. Another president screwing interns in the White House
............
There are reasons to be against Newt. But I don’t these are among them as he’s not for any of them.
I didn't say I support him, just that he has a tremendous mind. Easily one of the best spoken Republicans, who could easily dominate O in a debate. The guy has many flaws. too many.
Not now. But was he not for the first two in the not too distant past? Was he not in favor of McCain-Kennedy? And did he not share a global warming passion with Miss Nancy?
Don't know about the third, but his personal history suggests some reservations in this regard.
