Unfortunately, a little uprising, like the one in Egypt, is what it’s going to take

Might just be what Obama is wanting ? We’re screwed !!! any way we choose in fighting this monstrous bill.

Shot down on plaintiff’s standing, not on the merits.

Does any American subject have standing for anything?

If millions of Americans refuse to participate in Obama’s “health care” then it will die on its face. They cannot control millions, and cannot put millions in jail. We have the power to stop all this, we just have to use it.

Exactly. Not having standing is not a victory for obama in any way.

No standing IS the victory.

The fact that they trumpet something this feeble as an Obama "victory" shows just how far Mr. Soetoro has fallen.

So now we are nobodies.

Been that way for quite some time. The left always has standing. The right never has standing. That is one method the left uses to impose its will upon us. Want to build a nuke plant? The environmental left will initiate a lawsuit against it. With no dog in the fight they are given standing. They are just a group of citizens interfering, getting their way through litigation even if in the end they loose the suit. If you sue the federal government to get them out of the way of oil and fuel production you will be thrown out court for lack of standing. Never mind that your life and nation are being destroyed by the federal government. Now if you wanted to build a refinery and drill some wells, groups and citizens you never heard of from halfway across the country will sue you in federal court and stop you dead in your tracks. See a pattern here? The marxist left essentially rules the nation through the federal courts. And the ACLU is their law firm. Which we pay for with our taxes.

“With no dog in the fight they are given standing. “

Your point about the selective use of ‘standing’ is an outstanding one. There is nothing that gets to the American public like television and entertainment. That said, a good project for conservatives would be to get backing to start a television series predicated on examining inequities in legal proceedings. The whole issue of ‘standing’ alone could take a whole season to address.

Somehow we need to shine a very bright light on the legal profession, from attorneys to judges. The only time this issue of legal inequality is ever addressed is when the left is using it to show how minorities etc. are tried and convicted at higher rates.

Well said and good points. I wonder if the Club for Growth could be the focal point for aquiring a national TV station?
