Thank God I live smack in the middle of #10. #10 and #2 are right next to each other.

Did you know the only State that didn’t have at least one county voting for Obama in 08 was Oklahoma?

Obama lost every county in the country called Cherokee (Alabama, Georgia, Iowa, Kansas, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, and Texas all have Cherokee counties). I think he got the lowest percentage in the one in Georgia.

But as far as I know, only the one in Oklahoma has a song about it (David Frizzell, "You're the Reason God Made Oklahoma").

The Marietta/Kennesaw area is pretty gosh-darn conservative, too. When I lived there, I reveled in the whining from a liberal website about how it was the worst place in the world for “progressives”. Heeheehee
