That is true but the hysteria is mostly about early childhood vaccinations.

Exactly my point. The CDC recommends flu vaccines, most of which contain mercury, to children starting at 6m of age. The 6m vaccine includes 2 doses, spaced 1m apart. Children are to be vaccinated for flu each year.
