As a kid helping my dad out at his small business he would say “Well, I’d pay you what your are worth. But I don’t think you’ll work that cheap - so how does $5/hr sound?” (This back in the day of 65 cent gas!)
It is obvious to me how Obama can fix the economy with one simple move. Give an Executive Order that makes the companies hire every person not working. We all know that the companies’ are making their profits off of the backs of the workers. So - more workers means bigger profits. And everyone is happy. The workers have jobs. The companies have bigger profits. The gov’t. increases its revenue. And even people that DON’T work get some of the profits because of SS, Medicare, etc.
But just the profits.
Dont expect them to accept pay cuts during losses (see gm and the state of California).
The man known for his million dollar parties is lecturing the rest of us about greed? Funny.
>>Chrysler shareholders thought that was a good idea.<<
Don’t even get me started! GRRRRR!
You'll want to avoid this thread... Obama says White House, CEOs must work together...(Why?)
I wonder what will have to be done to get Obama to understand that Communism or Socialism will never fly in this country. Not without a lot of bloodshed at least.
More spreading of the wealth.
someone needs to tell O that its never worked
US Corporations share their profits all the time, Billions & Billions each year for those with some "Skin in the Game".
The call it stock dividends Mr. Obamah!
If an employee wants more than his salary and benefits from the company he or she works for, then they need to put some skin in the game and share not only the profits but also the risk.
It's the American Way Mr. Obamah!
Obama reminds me of Hank Rearden’s mother, trying to line up a featherbed job at Rearden Steel for her shiftless son Philip.
