What good will? We have good will with a small elite that can dry up and blow away at any time.

In 50 years the USA has gone from a country where the world owed us, to one where we owe the world. A big part of that debt came from us sticking our nose in every country’s business and waging non USA defense related wars, and the ensuing costs. Just for once, I wish we could keep our nose out of every country’s business and put our own house in order first.

It’s not like we have piles of money available to prop up or take out every regime that doesn’t tow our line. We’ve tried that and done it and it doesn’t work in the long term.

The Mexican President stuck his nose in our business and most of us went wild. These people aren’t any different than us. They want to have a say in their own country, not our country.

Where do we get the idea that we should impose our “values’, which to be honest I’m not that sure what they are anymore? We say we want to spread freedom and democracy but it always depends. Our freedoms are being lost as we speak, as the Patriot Act comes up for renewal. Do we want the peoples of these various countries on our side, or just the dictator thugs?

The press want chaos as chaos begets headlines and attracts viewers. Increased audience lines their wallets and enhances their celebrity status.

Bingo. You could say the same about the USA media where they make huge profits by intentionally keeping the USA divided and fighting amongst ourselves. The media is absolutely what drives the divide in the USA just like any catalyst intended to create a reaction.

A unified cohesive nationalist USA that can work together towards creating a prosperous nation with common goals, is never in their interest. The media/press gets paid billions for political advertising and the pundits who keep the pot stirred get paid millions. It all comes down to rabble rousing and money under the pretense it is about politics, whether it is the USA or Egypt.

84% of Egyptians believe that someone who leaves Islam should get the death penalty. That is fertile ground for the MB.

What a tool! The U.S. military has trained soldiers from just about every despotic state there ever was. This does not make them our friends or even civilized. It just means that, at one point or other, our "leaders" thought it was a good idea to train them, usually because they were fighting someone we didn't like.

LOL! Look stupid, I lived in Egypt 3 years, which is 3 years longer than you. I also lived in Turkey for 2 years, Bahrain for 1 year, UAE for 1 year and Israel for 2 years. Don't preach to me about what you know because you read it on some internet site.....especially some commie site that would love to see the MB take control of Egypt. Take your silly opinions and drag queen attitude elsewhere.....

Really good factual reply. You clearly refuted my assertion that the the U.S. has trained military from many despotic countries.

Oh wait, I guess you really only gave us your travel itinerary and a juvenile ad hominem personal attack.

Way to demonstrate your advanced intelligence and moral character!

Most impressive.

So what if they leave? I thought everyone said they were a minority group anyway?

Your right, I should have checked before responding to your post. Your rudeness, name-calling and general ignorance has been on display for sometime.

It ain't over. The army is in charge now, with Sulieman in the lead. The army isn't going to let the MB take power.

Why yes, yes it has. I don't suffer fools gladly, I call them out. And when the same fools resort to name calling, I call them names back. As for ignorance, I don't quote commie internet sites for references, that would be you....
