Echoing John F. Kennedy, President Barack Obama prodded business leaders Monday to "ask yourselves what you can do for America," not just for company bottom lines, even as he sought to smooth his uneasy relations with the nation's corporate executives. The difference is that JFK asked for sacrifice from every American. Obama has no intention of asking for sacrifice from his own base of union members and welfare slugs, who still expect taxpayers to pay for their gas and mortgage.
