To: A.A. Cunningham
Is the Typhoon amenable to all the fixes that would be required? Are its stealth capabilities "navalizable"? The F-117, remember, couldn't get wet, ditto the B-2.

Does the Typhoon have the 1500-mile+ range required to make it a true "long arm" carrier defender and strike fighter, like the F-14 and Su-33/32?

I think you mixed up ferry range with combat radius. Combat radius for a Tomcat is about 500 nm and ferry range is at 1.600 nm. Combat radius for Typhoon is about 750 nm.
