Home schooling is a lot more effective than public schools which just goes to show how much of a disaster the public school system is in this country.

The fact that home schooling is better than public schools is an amazing testimonial when you think about it.

Can you imagine if folks working at home built a better automobile than Ford or performed more effective surgery than the doctors in a local hospital or grew their own food supply better than farmers?

Not really IMHO, as basically everyone homeschooling their children went through K-12 schooling themselves. After all, the only thing that should be challening AT ALL for adults is the last 3 years of high school. Given that the private sector (there we go again) is producing nice cirriculums which include the material needed to teach, this is a far cry from asking people to understand all the engineering needed to develop all the various systems and components of an automobile.

It is ONLY government itself, school employees and teachers unions who have a vested interest in vehemently maintaining that only a professional teach can teach grades K-12.
