“House Select Committee on Assassinations”
Was this the 1990’s re-look at Warren Comm report?
“Was this the 1990s re-look at Warren Comm report?”
No, it was the House’s 1976-79 investigation, inspired by the Church Committee hearings and conspiracy theory books, into the murders of JFK and Martin Luther King, Jr., and the shooting of George Wallace. It concluded JFK was killed by Oswald as the result of a conspiracy. This was based on “acoustical evidence” which supposedly established the existence of a fourth shot, which suggested with “high probability” that there was a second shooter.
The “evidence” in question was from a recording allegedly made from the transmitter on a police motorcycle in Dealey Plaza. It has since been debunked.
