You think an ad where two blacks knock out a white woman, then laugh and run away, is funny?
Do you think it would be received the same way if the roles were reversed?
I wonder if he or she would laugh if it was their sister, daughter, mother or wife? “Hilarious” in that the woman was almost knocked unconcious.
I wouldn’t really care, actually. It’s an ad, the damage is simulated, and it doesn’t make me want to buy State Farm.
Other than that, funny is shock at unexpected event. This was that, including a prat-fall. If it were reversed, I’d laugh at that too.
