I really don't understand the
obsession the left has with high speed rail.
Can someone explain, in simple English, why the left continues to insist on pumping money down this rathole?

On my more cynical days I think it’s so they can already be loading the trains for a return trip to the new “camps” when the news breaks about Citizens being rounded up.

Can someone explain, in simple English, why the left continues to insist on pumping money down this rathole?You have said it. Pumping money and rathole are 2 of the 3 prime principles of progressivism. The third is the destruction of free enterprise.
