Guess Who's Coming to CPAC? (Breitbart & Norquist Gush Over GOProud in Homosexual Publication)
MetroWeekly ^ | 02/09/2011 | Chris Geidner

Posted on 02/10/2011 8:46:00 AM PST by Pyro7480

...Calling this "a maturing point for the conservative movement," Breitbart minces no words: "If being conservative means rejecting gay conservatives because they are gay, then fine, I'm not a conservative."

..."No, we're not giving cover to bigots," he [Chris Barron of GOProud] argues. "What we're doing is separating the people who don't agree with the left-wing agenda from the real bigots. You can be against ENDA and hate crimes and federal safe schools legislation and not be a bigot. If you're Tony Perkins, you're a bigot. You're against all of that stuff not because of any federalist reasons, but actually because you're just a nasty, anti-gay bigot."

..."There are socially conservative groups who are a part of CPAC. You have the pro-life groups, you have education – school choice groups, all kinds of Second Amendment groups," he [Jimmy LaSalvia of GOProud] says. "Lots of social conservatives are represented at CPAC."

"And we're at CPAC. It's still the preeminent conference of conservatives in the country. The groups who aren't there are the anti-gay groups. That's it."

...Going to the substance of what he says is the primary reason for his support of GOProud, Breitbart says, "I believe, to the core of my being, that what I'm doing is supported by the vast majority of the people who consider themselves conservatives in this country."

...Barron looks at the landscape: "We've said all along that we don't think that the conservative movement is unwelcoming to gay people. There is a fringe element. A really nasty, anti-gay, bigoted element. And we have smoked them out, and we have marginalized them."

We need a major well funded alternative to occur at the exact same time and squash this (non)-C-pac

Yes! And hold it in a (comparatively) conservative friendly venue ... Dallas, Tampa Bay, Charlotte, Indianapolis, Phoenix.

It’s always the same with gay groups and their supporters. If you won’t affirm their behavior or embrace their agenda, you’re a (fill in the blank).

This post should not be in front page news.

There is nothing new about CPAC being a useless organization...and if gays being a big part of the Beltway GOP types is ‘big news’ than y’all have been a sleep...

"Why do you think that? Seventy-five percent of homosexuals vote for Democrats."

Because the Dems still pretend to be reasonable..when they are not.

Most the gays I know are like the majority of the population..they watch political TV two weeks prior to elections, vote and then never pay attention until the next time around. They have jobs and families and they just want to be left alone. If you talk to them about the "gay agenda" most of them think it's nuts.

This is a great country to be gay in when you look at the world as a whole and they are not out to force anyone to change for them...of all people I think they can understand pure bullying and that is what the "leaders" here are about...not "gay rights".

It's the same with the "leadership" of the feminist movement, it's been overrun by extreme fascist leftists that couldn't care less about woman's rights and care more about big government totalitarianism.

Every worthwhile movement in the country has been taken over by big government nut wackos.

Homosexuality is a sin. Lying is a sin. Stealing(cheating on your taxes) is a sin. The very thought of foolishness is sin. God has a low threshold for sin. It is man who wants to put degrees on the awfulness of sin.

Ask my personal opinion on homosexuality and I will tell you. It is sin. Having said that, I have worked with homosexuals at several companies. As long as they did their job, supported company goals, we worked well together. Outside of work, we parted ways.

My point is conservative ideals are much larger than just whatever we call the coupling of homosexuals. If they support limited government, lower taxes, American exceptionalism, a strong national defense, and are law abiding, what they do in private can’t be controlled. They are going to do it anyway.

Jesus said,”Let him without sin cast the first stone”. From the oldest to youngest they walked away. Why? The longer one lives the more one learns how far short of God’s standard they truly fall.

Their only agenda is homosexual.

The oldest ones left first because they knew they broke the law and could be stoned.

The law was that both the man and the woman had to be judged together. AND they had to be caught in the act. There had to be witnesses. If you accused someone and the law wasn't followed, you suffered their punishment. Stoning to death. Had ONE Pharisee cast a stone they could also be stoned to death.

The Pharisees were trying to set up Jesus but didn't follow the law. The Scripture states that the oldest dropped their stones first because THEY knew the law. And they knew the punishment.

"No, we're not giving cover to bigots," he

I think it's safe to say that anybody who hates the concept of recognizing that marriage is only for heterosexuals is a bigot.

If homosexuals want to work with us because we are willing to respect their private lives, they certainly should because we do.

Some of Grover Norquist's other friends, however, . . .

And why does Breitbart think anal sex is something that shouldn't be at the very least discouraged?

AB has some of the nasty traits that fit in with the GOProud types and don’t forget he was an original partner in the HuffPo project. Don’t know what to think..

And, Sarah Palin thinks it is a good idea for GOProud to be a part of CPAC?

She's *never* attended CPAC. She not on their Board of Directors. She has no vested interest whatsoever in CPAC's pursuits.

"No, we're not giving cover to bigots,"

They will not reason the concept that marriage is exclusively a biblical created state, they cannot reason that changing the meaning voids and discredits the bible as a whole and they dare not reason what would happen if the meaning of marriage could be opened to the joining of any and all men or beasts.

He that will not reason is a bigot; he that cannot reason is a fool; and he that dares not reason is a slave.

I didn’t used to care much about GOProud. After reading this spew by this clown who demands approval of his faggotry or screams “You’re a bigot” - I have a very unfavorable opinion of the group.

It is not “bigotry” to find two men kissing distasteful. It is not “bigotry” to find two men having anonymous sex in a public restroom extremely distasteful. It is not “bigotry” to find oral-anal contact disgusting.

It’s common sense. FOAD, GOProud.

The expect us to play "Let's pretend" with them, and get very hissy if we don't.

The bottom line is God states clearly choosing a homosexual lifestyle is not only wrong but an abomination.

I always go with the big Guy and whatever He says.

Anyone who chooses homosexuality lifestyle or chooses to defend it simply chooses to disagree with God. That is dangerous and quite arrogant to think one knows better than Him.

I wonder how Norquist’ Middle Eastern wife feels about him embracing the gay issue?

As long as it fills their pockets and keeps up the elite lifestyle, my guess is she's all for it.
When you've already taken money from Soros and Islamist radicals, can you really sink any lower?

Good article by Don Feder, reminding us of who Norquist really is:

Perhaps it is time to put the mechanism in motion to take it to the next level.

Sarah or Michele may not have as big a ears as Perot.. however, the TEA Party is both long overdue and obviously necessary to influence opinion and preserve what we can after such an orchestrated attack by enemies both without and within, all the while our security folks are either clueless or unwitting co-conspirators to a nation’s cultural demise.

The old ‘Taxation without Representation’ gambit still rings true today as a motivation as strong as it did way back when this Republic came into being.. perhaps more so, look at the price to be paid for this nation to continue its ruinous path.

Nero has his blinders on, the empire is burning from within, we aren’t that far removed from what is happening in Egypt..
