How sloppy can the government get?!

No, I’m not referring to the link about the certainty and effects of nuclear terrorist attacks on US soil because of the policies and inadequacies of our esteemed Feds.

What I am referring to is the unbelieveable sloppiness demonstated by the fact that the gov would put an honest man - so obviously uncomfortable and unskilled at the fine Federal arts of lying and dissembling - in a position of authority, and let him get in front of a camera. Truly shocking!

Well, one thing is for sure, he won’t be there in that position again. He damaged their cover well enough with that interview. I doubt that he will be allowed to give any more.

What is interesting is that in the background you could hear a woman talking about what information he should be limiting his answers to. She said that they would get further information to the reporter regarding the rest. I wonder if there are going to be any follow ups by the news agency.

They did a great job, too bad that the MSM didn’t pick up on it and pressure the administration for details.

It’s the Port Authority, not the government, that puts him there. Port Authorities get their power FROM government but are more like an administrator or manager than a true gov’t agency.

Someone knew he was a loose cannon, that’s why there was the off-camera “public outreach coordinator” granting permission for the release of various bits, like the handheld gamma spectrometer, can I mention the ____? I can? OK...
