Arizona senator and 2008 GOP presidential nominee John McCain is warning that Egyptian President Hosni Mubaraks decision not to step down could touch off a much more dangerous situation, and he called for the Obama administration to tell Mubarak he must resign immediately.
The volatility of the situation was already very high, McCain said on Fox News, and I think its been ratcheted up dramatically.
I think the United States had better be more clear in our message to President Mubarak, that we are very clear in our message that he needs to step down, McCain said.
Asked by host Neil Cavuto if the Obama administration should call for Mubarak to step down immediately, McCain replied, Yes.

Go to Hell McCain!
McCain is being consistent, remember he is a big supporter of Muslim causes.
He was a huge supporter of the Kosovo Liberation Army.
I think Obama should shut his pie hole.
So should Meghan ‘S daddy
Obama needs to keep his mouth shut!!!
I would be happy in juan would resign.
But lame head, will he listen to bozo and you. You need to sit down and shut up. Take care of Arizona. That’s your job.
If anyone understood the lessons of the Tet offensive reality vs perception it should be John McCain. This is a very small number of Egyptians who have captured a stage in the capital but look around the rest of Egypt and understand that you are seeing a planned event executed perfectly with the encouragement of our President and the MSM.
There were more tea partiers here in the U.S. than rabble rousers in Egypt as a percentage of population. I wonder what conclusions the administration would draw from that?
Arizona should call on Juan McCain to resign.
I call for Mc Cain to resign.
i love it! bwaaaahahahaha!
Senility....A mind is a terrible thing to lose.
As much as I dislike Obama, i am glad McCain didn’t win, he would have took the Republican party down with him and we would now be having to think about creating a new party. For now we can concentrate on fixing the Republican Party.
The name sounds vaguely familiar somehow, but it does not convey a positive connotation.
There’s something that people are missing here. I listened to Mubarak’s speech. I heard him plainly say “I will not take orders from other countries” (paraphrase) It was clear he was talking about obama. That tells me that obama has ordered him to step down, and that left Mubarak with no way to step down on his own terms and save “face”. If obama the idiot had pressed him “privately” to step down while saying publically that he understands the people’s wishes for freedom, then that would have paved the way for Mubarak to step down. As usual, the amateur struck again.
Given that Mubarak explicitly said that he wasn’t going to be told what to do by outsiders, I’d say this is a pretty bad idea.
I’m not sure if it’s accurate, but your post was hilarious!
>> Why does McCain love the Islamic Brotherhood so much?
John is a man of the moment. Something impressed him. Oh well...
