Simple fact: Herman Cain has never held an elected office.

That might actually be a good thing.

Dwight Eisenhower never held an elected office, either, until becoming President.

I thought of one more critical quality a winning candidate must have against Obama - (I know I’ll get slammed for saying this), BUT we need an Alpha Male. Of all the ones who indicate they’ll run, I think there are only two that fit that description - Trump and Cain.
