Unfortunately the Federal government doesn't care. The states are the only ones pursing this.
If anything the Feds will shut down states like ND that try enact laws like this.

I’m glad that the states are pursuing this, because it will make a difference, but ultimately, the Federal government must get involved if we really want to end abortion in the country.
