I highly recommend you take the time to watch the entire speech. This guy could be Barack Obama's worst nightmare.

When he isn’t dissing social conservatives he might make sense.

No name ID and he ain’t got a shot without picking up social conservatives.

It’s a well-written and delivered speech. I would like to see how he handles himself on the fly. We’ve seen that Obama is pretty good at reading a speech.

Haven’t watched this one yet, but have you seen the speech by Herman Cain?

Yeah, Obama can read a speech, but there's no authenticity in him. Daniels is competent.

I agree. I have been high on Mitch Daniels for a while, and my hubby watched his speech yesterday, and he is now liking him a lot.

I don't really believe he "dissed" social conservatives; but, he does believe that we are in times that require that we concentrate on the problem in front of us (the economy and debt). The other stuff will still be there once we deal with that.

I think he is more than competent, he is a proven commodity when it comes to governance. Plus, guys got a sense of humor.

Daniels is competent.

Likes idea of VAT tax.

Raised Indiana Sales Tax.

Wanted to raise Indiana corporate tax.

Leased Indiana revenue producing resources to a foreign entity.

And calls for TRUCE on social issues!

These are competencies he's well versed in.

And I guess we are asked to trust Ted Olson to guide him in his Supreme Court picks...sound familiar

There are so many 5-4 decisions out there just hanging by a thread, everything from abortion to gun rights. This is not the time to put these things on the back burner, totally absurd

I love the way you get down at the foot of a potential candidate's bed and virtually yank all his covers by listing his/her warts and birthmarks, etc.!!!

Sure clears up unnecessary confusion in a hurry!!!

Keep it UP!!!

Ted O was going to be Rudy G`s point man on the supreme court, had he been elected. Rudy being pro abortion/anti family promised that he would appoint good Conservative Judges to the high court, even though he was not a social Conservative. He assured us that Teddy O would guide him.

Mitch/ Rudy kind of in the same boat, Mitch wants to move away from the family values platform and focus on economy.

He has no chance anyway IMHO unless the true Conservatives split the vote that is.
