That’s too bad.

Well, we’ll see. It could be that YAF is just making room on its board for a blatant Log Cabin type.
That's the most ignorant thing I've heard in a while. Paul used to be anti-homosexual rights. Now he thinks the government should stay out of the way of their relationships. Paul, like other libertarians, are moving left.

Absolutely!

We can criticize without hate-filled personal attacks, some of which are distortions or blatant lies. And we do need to attack the left more.

Why are Ron Paul's supporters so, generally, rude and antisocial?

There's a tendency in libertarians who've studied long and think they've "worked it all out" to present their opinions in abrasive, unpleasant ways.

A classic example is Murray Rothbard, who was known as "Typhoid Murray" for the effect he had on some libertarian gatherings.

Another would be Lew Rockwell, one of the most unpleasant folks I've ever met in person.

A gentler example was a fella I knew who'd always chime in "You mean at no extra charge" when I'd say something was "free". He was right, of course, but that didn't always make the correction palatable.

As for anti-social, you need to attend a few libertarian parties. That part I never had a problem with.

I think we should direct any and all venom filled attacks to the following individuals:

Barack Hussein Obama

Keith Olbermann

Keith Olbermann (He derserves double the ire.)

Myth Romney

Keith Olbermann (Okay, triple the ire.)

Rachel Maddcow

Al Snore

Princess Nancy, Ruler of the People’s Republic of Pelosi

Orrin Hatch The Plot

Lindsey Grahamnesty

Olympia SnoweJob

John McPain

Keith Olbermann

Oh yeah, in case I forgot: Keith Olbermann

Harry Potter Reid (We must be careful. Harry has the magical power to make the polling machines say: Harry Reid.)

All things considered, call me a Pollyanna if you wish, but I don’t think we should be attacking our fellow Conservatives.
