But also look at the guy’s expression on his face when he asks about San Diego. He says “not in the port of San Diego” and he also says “not in this fiscal year.” It’s painfully obvious from the guy’s body language that he was keeping some critical information hidden.
I agree. His body language changed with the question about finding nukes? He stiffened up, he looked away, stammered... doesn’t take a scientist to read that he suddenly became really uncomfortable and was trying to somewhat duck the question but not lie. I think that is what is unusual to some people. We have grown so accustomed to people lying and doing it well that we are amazed when we see someone not doing it.
