Yeah, like they didn’t allow two wars against Iraq.

They didnt agree to that either - It wasn’t a diplomatic meeting of the world leaders such as that which you speak of here. - we just went and kicked ass.

In fact basically the whole world didn’t have any say & was against us, but you think they will all come together on a sanctions war that Russia & China will not agree to and that they can bypass with ease? LOL

Do you have any idea how much that war bolstered the influence of Russia & China in Iran?
Iran is armed with major weaps from those two countries, even silkworm missiles & Russian AA defenses.
How will you feel when they get their nuclear weapons?

George H.W. Bush got 26 other countries to join a coalition against Iraq in the first Gulf War. These included 9 countries with majority Muslim populations. Saudi Arabia contributed $36 billion toward the $60 billion cost though they should have paid for the whole war being the chief beneficiary.

The second Gulf War included a coalition of 41 countries though the U.S. carried most of the load with many coalition members acting in humanitarian roles. Russia and China were primary suppliers of arms to Saddam. Since his removal the U.S. has mostly filled that void though the Iraqis may buy some fighter planes from China.

After the rise of the theocracy in Iran and the end of U.S. relations Iran was stuck with a military equipped mostly with U.S. weapons. The Iran-Iraq war accelerated the deterioration of these weapons and Iran had to rely on third parties for replacements and spare parts. They had little choice in turning to the Soviets and Chinese.
