Today Karl Rove was on the Fox News Channel, talking about the CPAC Straw Poll, and if it really means anything. He Said ,”3742 people voted in the straw poll; 11,000 people attended the CPAC. So two-thirds of the people who attended didn’t even bother to vote.” He then was asked his thoughts on the GOP Frontrunners, when he exclaimed, "The front runners are going to be those that are better known, like Governor Romney and Governor Palin, or those that are serving governors or recently serving governors, Governor Barbour, Governor Daniels, Governor Pawlenty. But it’s going to be an open contest and we are likely to see lots of surprises along the way.”

McCain and Karl Rove both confirmed that Rove was totally opposed to the picking of Palin for the VP slot (Rove wanted Romney, everyone else was divided, McCain apparently was the only one who felt strongly for Palin).
Rove, has been cited by name, as a source for much of the dirt on the inner workings on what went wrong with the McCain campaign (he came on a consultant, and was promptly ignored).
Karl Rove is a man without a country, his original 2008 guy decided not to run (and apparently, not be involved in politics at all, in any way, shape or form), former Senator Bill Frist.
Rove is a pundit now, he isn't going to have a client in 2012, and will basically root or support people that he has connections with or was friends with, on a personal, not political level...................and based on the fact that he wanted Romney for the VP pick in 2008, its pretty safe to say, he wants him back as the nominee in 2012......Its unlikely he has any connection to Palin, and he certainly is no fan of hers.......
