Donald Trump Vs Sarah Palin -- Republican Presidential Candidates 2012
IB TImes ^ | 2/12/11 | staff

Posted on 02/14/2011 1:24:34 AM PST by pissant

As the 2012 presidential race approaches, the Republicans are exploring all possibilities to deny Barack Obama a second term. As the potential Republican candidates met in Washington for the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC), the real estate mogul Donald Trump made a surprise appearance to reiterate the possibility of him running for president in 2012. Among the likes of Mike Huckabee, Mitt Romney and Ron Paul, the real estate mogul will have to first beat out the ever popular Sarah Palin to even be considered.

Although Trump flirted with the idea way back in 1999 when Bill Clinton was the President on a Reform Party ticket, he recently stated his plans of running for president in November 2010. He had told ABC it "could be fun" to run because he wanted "to see some positive things happen for the country." Before that in October, he had told Fox News that if he were to run for president he would as a Republican.

Now, his February appearance on the CPAC has set off a strong buzz that Trump would run for the White House in 2012. According to media reports, it was the Trump camp that reached out to organizers of the event on the possibility of the potential presidential contender delivering a speech. Trump also made some strong statements on Thursday as he felt that the country was becoming "the laughingstock of the world."

Trump is blowhard narcissist with a horizon measured by the shores of Manhattan. Off the island, he is over his head.

What I’m saying is Trump specifically takes amoralism to new heights. Nothing matters to the man than making a buck. At least Bush has an intact family life and was steadfast on social issues. You won’t find that with Trump.

I find the relativism here in FR vis-a-vis Trump interesting. FReepers will blast away at Mitt Romney over his Mormonism and flip-flops on some issues, but are willing to give a pass to a bullying a**hole like Trump.

So far, there are two whose nomination atop the GOP ticket will drive me to a third-party vote. Jon Huntsman and Donald Trump.

I’m a “anyone but obama” guy for 2012. To me, the spectre of an obama second term far outweighs the shortcomings of the likely candidates.

I can take or leave CPAC (ACU). I prefer the Eagle Forum and the Republican Assembly folks over Keene and co. Despite that, they had some great speakers again this year. Including Allen West, who makes Palin seem like a Babs Boxer in comparison.

I don’t have a problem with Trump as long as he pays back all the creditors he stiffed in his bankruptcies.

She is still the clear leader, without even running! She is already Honorary CIC. Just ask the troops who they would follow!!!

Elect Sarah Palin for President 2012

Trump:

1. For universal health care
2. Against missile defense
3. Pro-abortion
4. For assault weapon ban, waiting period, & background check
5. Attempted to — through eminent domain abuse — acquire the home of Vera Coking located near Trump Casino. Trump wanted the property space for limosine parking.

These are not the hallmarks of a “conservative.”

Ever notice how Trump’s bankruptcy problems only occur when a divorce is on the horizon? Of course, I could be confusing cause and effect!

Trump is nothing more than a democrat prostitute. He supported Obama in 2008, he donated money to Rahm’s champaign.

His task is to peal off as many idiot morons and split republican votes, in other words his Ross p.

One thing’s for sure.

Donald Trump is in no way, shape, or form a bootlicker!

Personally, I think he’d spend the first month in office saying “Yur FIRED!!!”

Any guy who can’t look in the mirror and see what a disaster that super combover is, should be fired.

I do like his opinion on China though.

Well if that’s the case, perhaps other Republicans should be saying the things he is.

After all, two weeks ago nobody would have even considered the idea of Trump as a real candidate.

Nobody.

What is it, which changed in those two weeks?..........

ANSWER: He took a clear stand, which nobody else is.

Rather than accuse Trump of being a democrat, would it not make more sense if what he is saying, is a winning position.

To ADOPT THAT POSITION??

Trump’s correct, and has the cojones to say the Emperor isn’t wearing clothes.

Nobody else out there right now, is.

The problem is not Trump. He is 100% correct.

You gloss over his positions. He supports democrats, any person that supported Obama doesn’t get my vote. I don’t care what he says his position is at this point on any issue. The man is lying, and I will not support a democrat plant like Trump.

As I stated, he is a democrat prostitute whose goal is to split moron idiots from voting for a conservative. So I understand why you would vote for him, I would never.

In other words I’ll stay home.

My point was not so much you should consider voting for Trump - though he’s gaining my respect rapidly.

My point was, if what Mr. Trump is is clear-thinking and bold enough to say, is correct, and has the ability to influence the next election...

WHY IS HE THE ONLY REPUBLICAN SAYING IT?

I guess you missed the part about him being a democrat.

Yes he may influence some issues, but when he was supporting Obama and Rahm did you support him then?
