America will probably have another president who HAPPENS TO BE black but neither Cain nor West are going to be candidates in 2012, either for lack of experience or lack of broad support or both.

Their messages are pure conservatism, however, and I hope they manage to make the public aware of their beliefs. And maybe down the line we’ll see one of them on a GOP ticket.

Based on major cities in ruin, complete with rampant fraud and financial ruin which are led by black mayors; based on the sole purpose of the "black caucus" to care about only black issues, and based on the performance of barack obama, I think we will be highly reluctant to vote for another black person for President, no matter how good he "sounds".

We're dealing with one now who "sounded" good, and look what has resulted...and might still result before it's over.

I think West and Cain are fine speakers and make excellent points, but obama and his ACORN ilk has ruined it for them for generations to come.

Barack Obama will go down as America's biggest enemy and biggest traitor in history.

Sorry, but Obama has been "all about race" even though he's mulatto who's not even as dark as my kids after a day in the sun.

America got spanked by a president who considers himself "black". That's going to stick in the minds of many voters, mostly democrat.

I think Obama's set back race relations and the "trust" that had been growing before he came into power and "acted stupidly".

He's blown the chance for a real black president at least for the next few cycles. I don't care how good Herman Cain is, the divide will be a lot to overcome in 2012 and then some.

... even those who opposed his liberal policies secretly had a fleeting moment of patriotic pride...

Complete and utter BS! I read Corsi's "The Obama Nation" and Freddoso's "The Case Against Barack Obama" well before the election and knew exactly what a disaster we were in for. I have not had a single racially tinged sense of "patriotic pride" about this cretin. In fact, quite the opposite. I am nothing but disgusted that the Democrats would select an American-hating communist with a obscured background in their primary and he would actually beat a true patriotic American.

As much as I detest McCain, it's impossible to deny that he sacrificed and served his country well.

Sorry, I'm the anecdotal one of "those" who felt we let America down by electing the Kenyan Klown.

Race, race, race,... Obama has single handedly set race relations back decades and poisoned the well for anyone of color or RACE seeking the office of the President, no matter who they are.

The color of a man's skin does not matter and no longer counts as a "get into the position free card".

People want to be able to criticize their president’s policies without being called a racist.

I don’t think America will elect another black president for a long, long time.

If you don’t view things by race, then there was nothing to feel pride about. I knew Obama was a fraud, a communist, and someone who voted to allow babies to die on cold stainless steel operating room tables.

I felt nothing but disgust at his election.

This fraud could be a native Indonesian. He looks nothing like his purported father, BHO. Dreams of my Father is just a huge head fake.

Who is going to have the courage to expose him. Someone in the media? Someone in the Dem party? Someone in the Republican party? Someone in Tea Party? Someone in the military? So far, all have failed.

Is she crazy?? Pride?? I knew the day he was sworn in what we were facing. I worked in Washington DC under Marion Barry, I saw Atlanta, Philadelphia, Zimbabwe.

I knew we were in trouble from the start.I think in the back of their mind most Americans did, but hoped for the best. The best isn’t what we got.

What we needed for our first black president was a Jackie Robinson. What we got was a Rickey Henderson.
